I know it’s a lot to take in if you are new to the idea of nonspeakers being as smart as anyone else, just unable to show it.

If there’s something that just doesn’t make sense, please ask. It’s a lot to get your head around, and it contradicts what some doctors, schools, or therapists might say.
I follow many nonspeaking spellers and their families on social media. If there’s a particular question or topic you’d like another perspective on, ask me and I will find you some links.
If you’re looking for local parents to talk to for a less biased opinion than someone recruiting spellers for her practice, there’s a small group of spellers who gather in Huntington Valley, PA. I’m sure they would answer questions Real Voices of Philadelphia. And as you saw in the Gregory Tino, there’s a large group of nonspeakers in Springfield, PA at Inside Voice.

Groveland School for Nonspeakers

My home, the Groveland School, was active as a one-room school from 1850 to 1920. Now that I’m becoming a teacher for nonspeakers, I revived the name.

While in training, I’m traveling to homes near Newtown, Bucks County PA.

Once certified, I may build a classroom annex to my home, located between Newtown and Richboro.
